Desktop Support Specialist
A rapidly growing Fintech company is currently looking to hire a desktop support specialist. Leveraging technology, this firm is changing the way advisors work with their high-net-worth clients by opening up marketplaces previously reserved for large institutions. This role allows plenty of room to expand your technical skill set and take on more responsibility should you choose. Recognizing the changing employment landscape, they are shifting to a hybrid work environment by offering their staff the opportunity to work from home three days a week. Compensation is very competitive and includes performance-based bonuses, matching retirement contributions and generous PTO.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will primarily be supporting in-house users in an office that has new staff joining on a daily basis. Because the firm is software focused, you’ll find most of the users have above average technical knowledge, so you’ll spend less time on mundane, easy to fix problems and more on challenging Level II and III issues.
Responsibilities and Technology:
Providing Level I – III support in a Windows 10/ Office 365 environment.
Working with Active Directory (AD), including Group Policy.
MDM with Apple, Google, and Microsoft devices.
Using PowerShell to automate tasks.
Getting Exposure to DevOps, software development and Security.
