A recently promoted Desktop Manager at a growing elite hedge fund in Manhattan is looking for his second-in-command. S/he is a Lead Desktop Support Engineer who wants to work in a technical environment that is currently moving heavy into the cloud. You would work on researching and implementing cutting edge tools, automating processes and leading a junior desktop team, all in an environment where the VP of the group wants his team to continually challenge themselves technically.
You would be supporting all users, but if your job is done well, you can quickly become the go-to person for the executives. This a highly visible position within an expanding organization that rewards those who deliver with more responsibility, training and above-market compensation.
Experience and Responsibilities:
- Lead Desktop support in Windows 10 Environment by troubleshooting issues in Office 365, Active Directory (Group Policy), mobile devices, and AV.
- Work with KACE and use PowerShell to automate pushouts of new software and updates, as well as manage inventory.
- Serve as the escalation point for technical issues unresolved by junior members of the team.
- Research and implement technologies in a cloud environment designed to make your job easier while improving user experience.
