Job Description
A Manhattan-based hedge fund is looking for a Lead End User Support Engineer who wants to be more than the most senior person handling support tickets.
You will become a key technical resource for a firm of more than 200 employees, supporting a demanding user base while helping shape how end-user technology is delivered, improved, and supported across the business.
The IT team is lean and highly technical. That gives you the opportunity to stay close to infrastructure, cloud, security, automation, and engineering rather than operating separately from the rest of technology.
You will serve as a senior escalation point, help improve support workflows, refine the user experience, and identify areas where processes can be automated or made more efficient. You will also partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Engineering on highly visible projects that affect users and technology across the firm.
The environment includes Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Azure, Windows 10 and 11, cloud and SaaS platforms, PowerShell, and other automation tools.
You will report to a highly technical End User Services Manager who stays close to the environment and understands how support connects to the broader technology platform. You will also have exposure to the Head of Infrastructure, who is equally technical and believes in giving people access to new technologies, projects, and decisions.
