A top-tier investment firm with close to 2000 people and over 50 billion in assets has a technology department that runs with little to no red tape has an opportunity for a Senior Desktop Support Analyst to join this close-knit but welcoming team. People here work hard and are rewarded for their efforts and accomplishments both monetarily and with more responsibility.
The opportunity consists mainly of level II – III support, yet this group is expected to also solve complex technical problems. Additionally, many paths exist to move up in IT – currently, there is a Systems group, a Management track, and a Specialized Operations in the creation stage to be the bridge between Desktop Support and End-User Computing/Desktop Engineering.
Responsibilities and Technology:
- Provide Level I – III support with a focus on Office, Exchange/Office 365, Active Directory
- Troubleshoot problems on Windows Server, CISCO and overall connectivity issues on the hardware and software side
- Aid in migrations and upgrades to improve and maintain systems
- Support cutting-edge technologies as the firm moves to AWS
